FEELINGS
Sometimes you have a gut feeling things aren’t right,
That warning in the heart that can give you a fright,
Something is going to happen, some dreadful thing,
All of a sudden you no longer have a desire to sing.

Every time the phone rings your heart beats too fast,
Is it a death in the family or has someone crashed?
Or is the weather going to be so bad inside you stay,
The best thing to do is get on your knees and pray.

Sometimes you feel that it’s going to be a grand day,
Something good will happen along your busy way,
So that it matters not what the weather is like at all,
As you work or play you are going to have a ball.

Sometimes you have the feeling to call on a friend,
You could be the one on whom she can depend,
Stop what you are doing give her a call on the phone
Or go round and visit and chat in her own home.

But do not ignore those feelings that are sent your way,
They are gifts given quite freely to guide you day by day,
Trust them, live by them, so the feelings will always flow,
Then you will follow the path of right wherever you go.
