A HOUSE BUILT UPON A ROCK
When a house is built on rock and made of strong stone,
It is built for centuries, many generations, will call it home,
Firm the foundations, stalwart stand the walls and doors,
Nothing at all friable is ever found in a home like yours.

So it should be with our character, true, full of honesty,
Nothing should cause us to crumble, never friable be,
But stand strong when we have found the path to follow,
What ever happens never be reduced to powder and rubble.

When serving the Mater, who is our rock and foundation sure,
We should never cease to teach the truth and help the poor,
The friability of Satan’s way should be quickly pushed away,
Stand firm in faith and never crumble till your dying day.

Then when you have completed, in strength, your mortal path,
The promise is that you will gain in glory all thy Father hath,
Nothing will ever crumble, fall in powdered ruins in heaven above,
As long as we stood firm and strong and aimed to gain eternal love.
