        STAND FOR SOMETHING
I heard a saying the other day that struck my heart,
‘A man who does not stand for something, has no part
In anything, will with a surety just fall for anything,’
That to me a great message and strong message did bring.

I’m glad I stand for something, stand for truth and light,
Willing to be a beacon to a world that needs a good site
To fix upon while being surrounded by so much evil and sin,
Stand for something so to help others many battles to win.

I will not bend with the winds of change, stand firm and true,
Follow all the commandments in all that I say and willingly do,
I’ll hold the flag of God’s glory high so that all may clearly see
That I stand for something and that His truth has set me free.
