INNER CLOSETS
How often do we clean out the closets of
our heart, soul and mind,
How many cobwebs over all our many
faults and failing to we find?
It is easy to tuck them away and keep well
hidden and always out of sight,
But we need to seek them out and clear away
all evil clutter with all our might.
Spiritual cleansers are all around for us to
honestly and wisely use,
Prayer and fasting, scriptures study, then at
last repentance choose.
When all is cleaned look around once more
to see if debris is lying around,
Then open the windows of your inner self
where sunshine isnt found
The last of the cobwebs and evil will then
be quickly blown away,
After that the inner light will burn as bright
as any sunshines ray.
We should not put on the armour of all the
good and noble things we do
If our inner dark closets are not cleansed
and washed right through.
