FINDING OUR WAY THROUGH LIFE
When going on holiday and you are doing it by car,
It’s good to have a map, if you have to travel far,
You buy one from the store or call the CAA
To acquire a trip map to show you the best way.

The car is packed and ready, excitement in the air,
Plenty of nibbles for the trip, of a diet you don’t care,
You set off in the right direction with a prayer to start,
There is joy and laughter in the trusty checked out car.

The maps get all buried, the navigator needs to know
Do we turn left or right, I want to know the way to go.
The sensible people stop so the important maps to find,
Others try to find their way. get lost and farther behind.

We have a map to follow to lead us to heaven above,
As well as a compass all given to us with great love,
Yet we flounder and get lost with the tools right there,
Remember the scriptures, service, fasting and prayer.
