SUNSHINE
Does our pathway go through eternal
sunshine of truth and light,
Do we always bask in the warmth of knowledge,
aim with all our might
To understand the gospel so want to shun
darkness and evil,
Willing always to obey and follow, know
always the Master’s will?
With the sunshine of truth ever present we
should not go astray
And close to all the truth and light always
want to stay.
When you feel truth’s sweet sunshine
no other light will do,
It is the sunshine of the true gospel that
will shine through.
Gather truth’s sunshine just in case some
darkness comes your way,
Then you can let that sunshine in, the darkness
shine bright as any day,
For light always sends the darkness fleeing,
true light is everywhere,
And those who are lost in darkness will
see your guiding light there.
