ANOTHER LOVE POEM FOR YOU
It seems ages since I wrote a love poem for you,
Only one since Valentines, so I really apologize
For sweet words have not come flowing through,
Yet my heart with sweet affection constantly sighs.

The idea of earthly separation is heartbreaking to me,
But hope is eternal because of God’s eternal plan,
For we know the promise of being together for eternity
Help’s to ease the pain so I’ll keep smiling the best I can.

I need your love around me, need your special ways,
Want you there beside me as we travel heaven bound,
Doing things always together through our happy days,
Then after parting many joyous memories will be found.

So let me say, I love you my darling, many times a day,
Let me hold you close, apart never from each other roam,
Step by step holding hands wandering along life’s way,
Until we reach our eternal goal and hold hands at His throne.
