BEAUTY EVERYWHERE
Sometimes the world is a lovely place, beauty everywhere,
With love and laughter and the songs of birds on the air,
A day of perfect weather, a breeze keeping the heat just right
And all the summer blossoms showing such a pleasing sight.
On a day like this you know things cant go too far wrong,
It seems that everything in the world wants to sings a song,
No clouds of discouragement mar or dull the warm sun,
It seems that the hardest of battles would easily be won.
But it cannot be all sunshine for some rain needs to fall,
Dark clouds roll in and blot out the sweet sun like a pall,
Yet we know that the strong sun will always win through
And after the rain everything awakes and is refreshed anew.
If we had all sunshine we would not grow spiritually strong,
We need to be tested by sometimes having things go wrong.
For how wonderful is a ray of sunlight after a terrible storm,
We need to be spiritually tested, but Hell guard us from harm.
We will be more trusting, be more dependent on Him each day
If the storms of trouble come raging over us along lifes way.
How bright the silver lining how comforting the bold rainbow,
Its like promises of life eternal as through our trials we go.
