TIME IS A FRIEND
We should not look at time as an enemy, but as a friend,
For time is fair, it gives of itself equally to all in the end
To do what we want to do with it, whether foolish or wise,
If we treat time well it can become a valuable prize.
We surely are the enemy if we waste it, not innocent time,
We will be held accountable for every second, is it a crime
To use our given time unwisely, to squander it all away,
Who will report to the time keeper at the end of our day?
The time that is allotted to each soul no one really knows,
So time should be used well as it at the same pace flows,
Think good thoughts, do kindly deeds, work while you may,
For our ticking time clock may only a short time stay.
A time to eat, a time to sleep, a time to work and to play,
But there are no set time for kindnesses in a normal day,
Find time to do the things you know that are good and right,
Fill your time with the Lords pure truth and shining light.
