SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND BRACELET
A sapphire and diamond bracelet a gift for just for me,
To celebrate our wonderful forty fifth wedding anniversary.
It sparkles and it glitters on my wrist as I sit and write,
Just like our relationship full of sweet, happy delight.

Every time I wear it. I gaze at the deep dark blue,
It reminds me of our love that will be forever true.
The diamonds that are embedded in pure gold
Tell me that forever our love strong will be told.

A Firm strong clasp to hold it safe and secure,
Just like our togetherness will be forever sure,
A gift made by a craftsman with talent and skill,
Like our marriage can be as we follow Fathers will.

Less than three more years, fifty years together we’ll be,
Hand in hand plodding steadfastly in sweet unity
Knowing earthly days are waning fast away,
Outlasting the sapphires and diamonds by many a day
