JEWELS
D&C 60: 4
In the bible it tells us in latter-days, Jesus will
take up His jewels,
Those who are obedient, good and kind, follow
the golden rules.
But in modern day scriptures a word is changed,
new meaning there,
It tells that the Lord will make up His jewels
so I feel of His care.
Every trial and tribulation every struggle then
helps us grow,
Making us worthy day by blessed day so
we may always know
Of His eternal love, developing us to be His
proven jewels so rare.
So we are His, moulded like clay in His hands
with loving care.
Make up me as Thy jewel, mould me well along
lifes busy way,
That when the time comes I will be a treasure
on that great day.
