SEEKING
When His sweet spirit whispers to a seeking heart,
And the truth is sought for and then found in part,
Feeling the great joy that comes and desires grow
Until His truth and light will deep within you glow.
An ever seeking heart and mind one day will find
The light of the gospel and the Master ever kind,
Find the path to glory and to God’s throne divine,
The way to exaltation and in His presence shine.
When truth and light you find, show others the way,
Be their guiding light, brighten dark night as the day,
Break down the barriers of evil with God’s true love
Bring them, holding their hand to heaven above.
For we are told to let the true light brightly shine,
Not hide it away, but glow with eternal light divine,
The only way to seek truth is to follow the lighted way,
Come and seek more knowledge and light this very day.
