SERENDIPITOUS MOMENT S
During a life time many special moments arise
That fill you with much joy, delight and surprise,
Serendipitous moments kindly cast our way,
That brightens and cheers us on many a day.
Do not mistake them for sheer happenstance,
Pass the moments with just a cursory glance,
But savour it, treasure it, store it deep in your heart,
Then when things go wrong it can do its part.
A white seagulls wing turned to a deep pink
As it is kissed in beauty as the sun begins to sink
In its glory and splendour at the end of the day
And that memory lingers and does not fade away.
A double rainbow bright at the end of a storm,
Or on a cold night tucked up safe and warm,
The fires glows when all the power has gone out,
Thats what serendipitous moments are all about.
Seeing a loved ones face through a great crowd
Holding a grandchild and feeling so very proud,
Being alive after defying deaths icy cold chill,
The feeling of gratitude, of love having ones fill.
Serendipitous moments, please remember them well,
Bring them to your memory and each moment tell
How your life was enriched with moments like these,
Like the whispering of music on the evenings breeze.
