TRUE LOVE
Through sunshine and in shadow true love comes through,
Holding close together in nearly all the things that you do,
Filling life with beauty that sweet lovers always feel
The power to do and say the wonderful things that heal.
Thank you for that kind of love, my husband and friend,
There right beside me with your love that will never end.
May our love shine like a golden ray dear heaven to reach,
And glow in our hearts and sweet love ever want to teach.
On Valentine’s day let us remember that love is divine,
More than roses and chocolates or jewels so very fine,
Love is a melding, a oneness that grows stronger each day,
A companionship that is heaven bound all along life’s way.
