WILL I
Will I see a rainbow again after a bad storm,
Hold a brand new baby keep him safe from harm?
Will I walk by the lake and feel the gentle breeze,
Or enjoy another winter when earth begins to freeze.

I do not know, I cannot tell just what lies ahead,
So I will make the most of life not lie late in bed,
But live each day as if there was very little time,
Serving the best I can without a whimper or whine.

I will marvel at the sunset and listen to the birds sing,
And savour the joy that small things to me can bring,
Seeing the earth arise after winter has gone far away,
And praise God with gratitude if I live another day.
