PROVIDENT LIVING
There is a great need to live providently
But not easy to follow I am sure all agree,
For it is so easy get become deeply in debt
As the things we think we need we want to get.

Don’t pay a cent for three years they say,
The goods could be worn out before you pay,
It sounds so good when heard on the TV and radio,
But for provident living it’s not the right way to go.

Live within our means sounds so simple to do,
But situations arise problems come into view,
Money has to be spent that is not accounted for
In a tight budget then in problems start to pour.

Wisdom should prevail as we strive to do what’s right,
Keep a heavenly goal always steadfastly in sight,
Worldly goods do not matter they stay here when we go,
It is how we lived our life to Father we will have to show.

Avoid all debt, except gratitude’s undying debt,
Over earthly things we should learn never to fret,
A nice home is important but not at a price too great
That will bind us, making debts misery our earthly state.
