More poems about Abiding Love
FOR MY LINDA
I really miss you Linda, there is an emptiness
in my heart,
I never feel my true self while we are so
far apart.
I miss the sparkle in your eyes, the way you
looked at me,
I miss your tender touch and long for you to
be with me.
I miss that sweet togetherness that we often
liked to share,
That special feeling knowing you are
right there.
I miss the way you do your hair, your fragrance as
you pass by,
And the enchanting way we both tried to catch
each others eye.
Parting is such sweet sorrow, tis said, for I
realize my dear
How very much I love you and always want
you to be near,
Soon our parting will be over and well be
together again
And then my darling we will be free from
all hurt and pain.
