        WORTHY OF THE KINGDOM
What do I know of His kingdom, what have I learned through life,
Have I wasted time on trivial things, been a bad mother and wife?
I should stop awhile and take stock of all the things I have done,
And see if by my own calculations a heavenly crown I have won.

If hard work is an attribute needed to travel the true and right way,
If saying my prayers often, many times through a hectic, wild day,
Or trying my best to overcome evil thoughts in my stubborn head,
Then I’m on the true path, but is that enough? Truth I should spread.

Be a missionary and read and study my scriptures every single day,
Learn of the Master and Father above, they become friends that way,
Attend the temple and more knowledge there readily and freely gain,
Help others beyond the grave, help free them from everlasting pain.

It seems that I have a lot to do before I meet the Master face to face,
Before I can enter heaven’s door and be worthy of His divine grace,
Help me Lord to see my faults and so willingly improve every day,
Hold my hand so I do not wander from the straight and narrow way.
