        TREASURED MOTHERS
Sing to 175 O God the Eternal Father
When we think of treasures is it silver and gold,
Beautiful jewels that sparkle with beauty untold,
But the greatest treasure is forever will be
That loving mother of mine for all eternity.

Earthly treasures will not last, but die in the dust,
But the true love of motherhood but we can always trust,
Treasure her and remember that one great day
She’ll be a queen in heaven and there forever stay.

The guiding hand you once held when a frightened child,
From whom worry and secrets are always hard to hide,
A listening ear and words of kind wisdom oft giv’n,
List’ to a mother’s prayer how selflessly does live.

Give credit to this woman who gave you breath and life
Is there beside you through all trouble and your strife,
Love unending she holds in her tender heart for you,
Rejoice and be grateful for a mother ever true.
