RAY OF SUNSHINE
Although a day may be dull and cloudy
You can have sunshine in your heart,
Rain clouds cover the warming sun,
But you can do your small part
By spreading bright rays of sunshine
Everywhere you need to go today,
Make the effort to shine bright,
Many will be glad you passed their way.
A little happy smile and a kindly word
Can brighten up the darkest day all see,
Stretch out a hand in friendship sweet,
Light up the world for others bright as can be,
A loving word can send away all fear and worry,
Be that ray of sunshine, be a light burning bright,
Lead someone from darkness show them a better way,
It will lift you and others as you bravely win the fight.
