WHO WE REALLY ARE
I dont think God will care where we came from
or the colour of our skin,
What He will ask is what lies in each heart thats
deep within.
Black, white or brown, yellow or a mixture
of them all,
It is the heart He will want to see when our name
He will call.
Is there love and kindness, a feeling of peace
to all men?
Or will He see coldness and pride and our heart
then condemn.
When He comes in His great glory on this earth
one day to dwell,
With love in ours will we meet Him or wait
many years in Hell.
We need to be colour blind for inside all people
are the same,
Unconditional love in every heart and mind
forever reign.
For who we really are is the person in each
beating heart,
And the way we think and live should always
be a loving art.
