        RESTRICTED FLUID DIET
Have you ever been on restricted fluids in summer heat,
Thirty plus temperatures every day you does greet,
I’m sure I’ll get dehydrated before much longer I fear,
Frequent mouth washes don’t help this time of year.

But if it l help the fluid on my lungs start to dissipate
I will put up with the discomfort and think it really great
That my breathing will improve and be well once more,
But it is a cure that in hot weather is quite hard to endure.

Take away most of my food and I would not mind at all,
Deprive me of sleep and I would rally to that tiring call,
But to restrict fluids on a scorching, very humid day,
I’ll just put up with it until my chesty rattle goes away.
