More Requested poems about Reverence.

SITTING QUIETLY WAITING
Sitting quietly waiting for the service
to begin,
Trying to feel calm and reverent and think
deep within
Of the blessings this week that abundantly
came my way,
And of the Saviour’s great love my thoughts
never stray.
Knowing that He loves me, forever in His
tender care,
Feel the spirit fill me, a sweet gift beyond
compare,
Letting my heart meld in unity with His pure
love divine,
Striving the best I can to have heaven to
become mine.
Shut out the din around me that seems so
very loud,
Slowly try to cover it with a blanket
or shroud,
What other people do does not matter to
my spirituality.
Getting close to the Master after all, is
up to me.
