MY ENERGY BANK
My energy bank is quite empty and there’s a lot to do,
My batteries need recharging, maybe zapped right through,
Climbing up a flight stairs quite slow, nearly flakes me out,
I need a new heart, if you have a spare give me a shout.

But I am getting better for I can eat a good meal now,
So some energy should return but I’ll use it up somehow.
As we settle in our new home work needs to be done
And soon this great battle we fight will be all won.

There are money banks and blood banks we all know well
It’d be good if there was an energy bank where we dwell,
A place like a gas station where we can get filled full,
If that were so this life of ours would never be very dull.
