You have a daughter that is a diamond shine to show the way
Two sons who hold the priesthood try to honour it each day,
A wife who wants an eternal family for now and evermore,
Waiting with open arms to go through the temple door.
Wayne, you are the key, a man of great worth that really can
Put all this together to fulfill our heavenly Father’s plan.
Satan wants to stop you, he is giving all the barrels full
To make you feel worthless, lies over your eyes pull.
A worrier in heaven, a stalwart soldier strong and true,
Set on earth to find the truth, and has been given to you,
A son of dear God, a child who has lost the sweet sight
Of all the truths of heaven and left you in a cruel plight.
No soul is ever lost who wants to really know the way,
And when Satan says you are not worth it, send him away,
For it is the fight you have to face and strive always to win,
Make your way to the temple and strive to be free from sin.
Wayne, you are a priceless jewel and worth fighting for,
Do not let Satan stop you from gaining heaven’s door,
A family can be together forever as all strive as one,
And when you have won, say ‘Father thy will be done’.
