SHOES
Walking shoes, running shoes, shoes
for having fun,
Best shoes, dancing shoes, slippers
when day is done,
Shoes that pinch, look good so you
wear them anyway,
Old shoes, trash shoes, ones for gardening,
a pair for play,
Comfy sandals that let your feet breath
on a hot day,
And a pair of baby shoes you could never
throw away.
We all have favourites, mine are all battered
and worn,
But they know of my sore toe and
every little corn.
Its what we do that counts not whats
on our feet,
We should move forwards others
needs to meet.
