More poems about Christmas.

CHRISTMAS JUST THE SAME
I have always loved Christmas,
Hustle and bustle everywhere,
With lots of people rushing,
Many season ‘s greetings in the air.
Shopping in many huge malls
To find all the things you need,
And of the densely packed traffic,
Always having to take great heed.
Crowded subways and busses too
Or not finding a place to park,
It all became some funny lark.
You’d get home quite worn out,
Your throbbing feet want to shout,
But it was all part of Christmas,
Now we leave that chaos all out
For we moved to the country side,
It will be much different now,
But I know that the loving spirit
Will be just the same somehow.
I am looking forward to the stillness,
Like on the first Christmas morn
When a precious babe, our sweet
Saviour and redeemer, was born.
Carols will still be ringing sweetly,
I am quite sure I will hear
The words we all know so well
Singing in my waiting ear.
The hustle and the rushing I
wont mind missing at all,
As into a few small gifts shops
I can just quietly stop and call,.
For Christmas is mainly in the heart
And in mine it will ever stay,
Always sing the carols early
for many a happy day.
