SOME CHOICES
Some choices do not matter, whether I wear green or red,
If of some meat or fish on this day I am to be well fed,
If I get up a little earlier tomorrow that’s alright I’d say,
These choices will not condemn me in any kind of way.

If I choose to hide my smile instead I wear a big sad frown,
If I moan and groan because I am feeling rather down.
Don’t care what goes on a round me in this vast world
And my fury at some other human or creature is hurled,

Then my choices matter I may lead someone far astray,
Help me every morning to choose the much better way,
There is solace in righteous doing, try it out and then see
All the many blessings that start to flow, all for free.

Agency is there for all mankind to reach and grasp hold,
To choose the right with the Master or be out in the cold,
Satan wants us to follow him and freedom then us deny,
Please help us always to choose aright up to when we die.

There is peace in right choices, the other is full of pain and sin,
Contentment of heart and mind when all good choice win,
Let us use our agency wisely and show the path to ever tread
And so be free from chosen paths that fill you with dread.
