        AFTERNOON HOURS FC
Some of us get together and type about our favourite team,
Discuss the goals that should have come and might have been,
Who played well and why one player got another yellow ticket,
How some games that were played very dirty and not really cricket.

What was wrong the Manchester City with their nothing draw,
They seemed to spend most of the time rolling about on the floor,
It’s a shame that only the Premier teams are mentioned, shown on TV,
My favourite team is buried somewhere no one ever want to see.

Liverpool won over Portsmouth yet they are not at the top
Chelsea is at it again, some of us hope they do a big flop,
Let poor old Wigan or Everton have the honoured place
So some other fans can have a big smile upon their face.

I know it’s mainly Brits that type away for fun each week
As input from football other fans they do want to seek,
I don’t know who’d I ‘d yell for and to look like a fool
Because my husband lived there awhile it’d be Liverpool.
