OUR CAR SHELTER
We did not want to leave the car out in the cold,
A sturdy framed car shelter one day we did behold,
Just the thing we needed to help protect the car
She’d be free from winds and snow warmer by far.
Someone told us about Len and his wonderful family
Who sold them and if old like my husband and me,
For a small amount would erect it safe and sound,
And on Monday as promised the family were found.
Working hard in the cold rain getting it quickly done,
They have our gratitude and affection really won,
This little poem is saying thank you in a special way
And may the Lord bless you as you go along life’s way.
