CHRISTMAS PENGUINS
This Christmas a decorated home we’ve found.
One of the best we’ve seen for miles around,
It is on Third street, near the bridge out of town,
Please go and pay a visit for it is of great renown,
If you like penguins as many people seem to do,
This decorated home is really a must see, for you,
The whole front lawn has penguins doing many things,
The only thing missing are penguins with angel wings.
There is a great deal of effort in cold icy, winter weather,
Hours of hard work to put the great scene all together,
It’s our first year living in Cobalt and we love it so,
And this happy penguin family set our hearts all aglow.
We are going in the daytime see how many penguins play
And this poem of gratitude the owners will get today,
The hydro bill must be high so thanks for the Christmas gift,
That came our way last night and gave us a great big lift.
