NOURISHING OUR TESTIMONIES
Our testimony is indeed a most precious thing,
A gift of the spirit the Holy Ghost does bring,
Nurtured by our deeds as we go along life’s path
Then one day we will have all that Father hath.
A testimony nurtures, is fed by truth and light,
Fed by doing everything that is honest and right,
By being a good neighbour and a true friend,
By always being there on whom many depend.
A light in the darkness should be each testimony,
Nourished worldwide so to set our spirits free.
Free from all evil, something we can never deny,
Be like the martyrs, for your testimony willingly die.
Let each heart be fed by following the true light
That testimonies will be growing, be forever bright,
Let each home resound with wisdom, joy and happiness
And so through life we can each other continually bless.
I know my saviour lives and that He suffered for me,
I know we have living prophets to guide us all safely
On the road to exaltation, with truth, light and love
Let us nourish our testimonies to present to God above.
