SPECIAL DAY
Welcome Shannon to the fold of Jesus Christ
our dear Lord,
Blest are you as you understood and grasped
His holy word,
As you are baptized by those with authority
this great day,
Our love and prayers go with you along life’s
busy way.
There are no strangers here, but we as saints
are truly one,
Sharing each other’s burdens, serving Him till all
the work is done,
As you take this step may your tender heart forever
sing and rejoice,
For although the road is hard it is the best and
wiser choice.
God bless you and keep you as His gospel you
now share,
Come and feel the joy of heart and soul, it is
beyond compare.
Welcome dear Shannon as you join this our
happy throng,
Come and eternally rejoice, aim for His great glory
where you belong.
