WRAPPING PRESENTS
Wrapping up Christmas presents when home is miles away,
It is kind of special, and it really brightens up your cold day.
Every time you write a tag its like a hug across the miles,
Then cut the right size of paper, thats worth many smiles.
Now we seal the seams and corners down with tape so sticky,
And we think of the boys ,where giving a hug is very tricky
When we are around, but now we can hug to our hearts delight,
And now they are all wrapped and piled and look a bright sight.
Now we will try and see you in our minds eye as they are opened,
And the love that was all tucked up inside on that you can depend,
Its not what the gifts are inside, but all the love and all the care
That will not be seen in the box, but its full to the top inside there.
