GLAD TO BE A WOMAN
I am glad that I am a daughter of God above,
A treasured child, led by His great love,
I am glad of the spiritual gifts I have that are free,
The joy of being a mother, special it is from me.
To be woman, the very last thing made by God,
He said it is good as we were placed on the sod
In the garden of Eden where everything was pure
But we could not progress there Eve was sure.
Wisdom comes to women, if they truly seek
If we become humble and also very meek,
We will be virtuous, noble and honour filled
And strive hard to do as God has willed.
To be a good wife, a woman good and kind,
Then motherhood for some true nobility find.
Showing Gods children the way they should tread,
Give care so they are spiritually and physically fed.
I am glad I am a woman with a soft and tender heart,
Glad that I know God loves me and I play a great part
In His plan of salvation, rearing His children here below,
A daughter of God guiding others the way they should go.
