        ANOTHER JOY CAME
Could I manage to carry another baby, once more
Go through sickness, sore back, sleeping on the floor?
Another baby, we dearly wanted another little boy
All the upset and aches worth that feeling of great joy.

He came bright green eyes and hair straight and fair,
Another bundle of sweet joy in my arms lying there,
The Lord has blessed us with His treasures from above,
To share with this our great family His eternal love.

Another good looking child, that loved to wear red,
Even red P.J’ s on his teddy when going off to bed.
Maybe a little spoilt by his older brother and sisters.
He hated his hair washed, gave everyone the jitters.

Ran like a streak of lightening at ten months old,
Almost impossible to catch him and so to hold,
Unless he let you or you cornered him some how,
Then he’d laugh and his little blond head bow.

His eyes lashes were as long as any I have ever seen,
And when they blinked over those eyes of bright green
They would just melt your heart away as he’d say
‘I love you this much’ arms outstretched in his own way.

A loving child, a thoughtful child who loved everyone,
Another adorable child to us had from heaven come.
Now a family complete with David coming our way,
We look forward to when we’ll be altogether one day.
