KINDNESSES
Kindnesses are fun things you can do for others every day,
But when done, we should forget them, not boast and say,
‘Look what I did for friends today, busy from morn ‘till night,
I did such a lot of good, my lamp must be shining bright.’

Try and do kind things quietly, so hardly anyone ever sees
That you were kind and helpful, then Him above you’ll please,
So hide each little kindness done in your own special way,
Forget them, wipe them from your memory at the end of the day.

Yet, if on the other hand if some small kindness to you is shown,
Remember it forever, savor every kindness, so a happy heart own,
So kindnesses will increase and make the world a much better place,
Just watch the joyful expression on the receiver or the givers face.

So remember to forget every kindness you have ever shown,
Keep on doing them every day where ever you have to roam,
Yet on the other hand count every kindness that comes your way,
Count them with the other blessings received at the end of the day
