WONDERS OF THE WORLD
Some of the greatest wonders of the world
are given to me for free,
Not made with priceless jewels or mighty
buildings tall as can be,
But the little things that helps life be filled
with joy and happiness,
You may not agree with me, but these are
the wonders I possess.
Touch
A touch of a new baby?s softness, pets fur,
the velvet petals of a rose,
Taste
To taste mom?s bread when you?ve been away,
A Christmas meal that a home knows.
Sight
To see a sunset, a smile on a face, lakes and
mountains, beauty all around.
To hear
To hear a song bird in the trees, a violin sighing,
laughter and an orchestral sound.
To run
Run for the joy of living, run along the sand. Run
to greet a loved one at the door
To laugh
To laugh along with children, laugh until tears flow,
laugh when I?m rich or poor.
To love
Love deeply, love well, love always, love all
love is God?s greatest gift so free.
These are my seven wonders said a young girl,
now, who will agree with me.
