WANDERING AROUND A SHOPPING MALL
Elevator music wafting about everywhere,
Mingling with many food smells in the air,
Clean floors, all free from ice and snow,
Free from the cruel winds that coldly blow.
Lots of stores of every type, shape and size,
One holding for you that very special prize,
You know youll have to take it with you,
Youll know it when it comes into view.
When you live miles away from anywhere,
A mall is a thing both precious and rare,
Just to slowly wander around and so see
All the big stores and folks from the city.
It isnt what you buy, it is just being there,
Walking and looking not having a single care,
Look! Bath bubble on special, cheap for today,
I cannot let all those sit on that shelf stay.
Time goes by so quickly, it time for us to go,
That was almost as good as an expensive show,
Although I love the wilderness and the beauty,
I do miss the large shopping malls in the city.
