GETTING CAUGHT
Most of the time he does not speed much at all,
But on a long road the right foot starts to fall
Just a little too much and it gets closer to the floor,
Then theres a police car, what will he book us for?
This one is very nice, just a warning ticket was given,
Maybe this kind deed will get him closer to heaven,
Yet the one in Saskatchewan was really very mean,
He put us down for going faster, a speed he did dream.
But when the roads are long and only lakes and trees,
To slowly creep to going faster is a doddle and a breeze,
The next car will have cruise control, when were rich,
That may stop increased speed or a foot with an itch.
But until then we both must try to watch our speed
Of the different speed limits signed and take heed,
And even if the road is very long and rather boring,
Of these last two policeman stops take warning.
