TAKE THE TIME
When driving along the highway,
You see signs pointing to places,
You say, I wish I had time today
So I could see new things and faces.
Some names sound very appealing,
They call you as you drive along,
What adventure would it bring?
It calls almost like a fairys song.
Ill come when I have time to call,
Find out what the name is all about,
Ill plan my time maybe next fall,
Come now a voice seems to shout.
Every time you pass time is short,
The urge to go and see it is strong,
Do not procrastinate I was taught,
Not to seek them out is quite wrong.
One day I could no longer get about,
Those unseen places hidden from me,
I had passed many times I did shout,
Lost my chances, now Im not free.
Try to make time to turn off and find
Hideaway places that to you call,
Seek out new places of every kind
For you may not be able come the fall.
