What is a special day? Please tell me do.
Is it when great things happen to you?
One to be remembered for ages to come,
Maybe some prize or honour by you won.
A day when everything was just right,
Friends and loved ones in your sight,
Or a day that just sailed gently along,
Your heart wanting to sing a song.
Meeting and loving your eternal mate,
Knowing that being together will be great.
The birth of child sent from heaven above,
An ever growing family filled with love.
Yet are not days of trial special kind of days?
As you struggle and grow, learning better ways
To live and love, so tell me what is a special day?
The day we have this day is special in every way.
