        DIFFERENT TIMES
There are times when everything goes just right,
Life seems perfect, and joy shines extra bright.
Your world is at peace, rainbows in the sky,
And nights of gentle, tranquil sleep float by.

Then the tide turns, sorrow and pain is found,
No longer in your sad heart does peace abound.
Should we be miserable, should we sit and sigh,
Moan and groan as another hurtful day goes by?

I think not, it is the rocky road that leads above,
To smile and carry on, showing an increase of love
And it will surprise you how soon the pain will fade,
Press on through hardship and never ever be afraid.

Different times are before us, a time to laugh or cry,
A time to live well then comes a time to one day die,
Joy and sorrow, health and illness, laughter and tears,
Will come to us all over our life’s many long years.

Different times come to test us all in many ways,
Can we through all our happiness always stay
Close to the Master, or think we have no need,
I’m fine, no gratitude show, then take heed.

When pain and sorrow burden our happy life,
Do we blame God for all our trouble and strife?
Live well through all the times that come our way,
So we will be worthy to meet Him one day.
