        INDIFFERENCE
Are we indifferent to the gifts given us each day,
Do we take for granted all that comes our way?
I worked so I deserve it we may unwisely think,
Wealth, health and life can vanish in a wink.

True gratitude I fear is a diminishing quality,
Too many people of obligations want to be free,
Stand on their own two feet, make it all alone,
Gratitude to God and others they are not prone.

There is no such thing as a self made man,
If you think I am wrong, please try if you can
To make a dead thing live or breath, create a tree,
Bird, animal or flower, go on, please show me.

Show gratitude before it is too late and you are lost
In a world where there’s no need of God, what the cost?
Total selfishness and greed as well as man made power,
Then Satan in control no gratitude ever want to shower.

Gratitude brings humility, acknowledgement of His love,
Knowing we are dependant for all to our God above.
Saying please and thank you to our fellow men each day
Shows that we are trying to help others find the way.
