THOUGHTS - LIVING THINGS
Our thoughts can be like livings things,
Like an aeroplane with silvered wings
Carrying me off to unknown places,
To meet new people with different faces.

Thoughts can cheer me when I feel sad,
Can help me smile or even laugh, be glad
To be alive when there is darkness around,
Oh yes, thoughts are alive and in me abound.

When a winter storm hits hard, cold and strong,
Thoughts carry me off to summer days so long.
If pain and anguish start to fill me with despair,
Thoughts of peace and tranquillity fill the air.

Thoughts can heal so kindly my broken heart,
Thoughts of those gone, being there, not apart,
Happy family get-together’s, thoughts of that love
Help me live a better life, prepare me for above.

May my good thoughts never fail, always live
In my heart and mind and to then others give
A knowledge of this living thing within them,
Help them to know the value of this great gem.
