OFF OUT
We are off out for the day,
I know we’ll have fun
Now that winter ‘s away
and spring has begun,
The sun is not too hot
so a coat we will need,
But everywhere is green,
and cattle will be freed.
Come and join us if you like,
run away just for one day,
Come, from work play hooky
it will be more fun that way.
Leave behind the work load
and other cares far behind,
Come on a short trip with us
and some relaxation find.
But if hooky you cannot play
on this lovely day so bright,
Don’t let things get you down
for winter is out of sight.
