        SIGHT TO THE BLIND
We know the Master gave sight to the blind,
Sent them home rejoicing new joys to find,
Can you imagine the love that would dwell
In a heart, after being blind, then can see well,

Now I was never blind, yet He helped me see,
Removed the darkness, His light set me free,
And I know the joy that filled my heart the day
My blindness went and He showed me the way.

Although I could see a sky of blue, a loved ones face,
I was quite blind to His great love, peace and grace,
And then I found the truth and I was blind no more,
I could see the glory of my God, I then Him did adore.

I learned of Jesus’ suffering, of God’s eternal love,
Before my blindness lifted I never thought of above,
I think the great miracle was when I at last could see,
Greater by far than when He gave sight to those in Galilee.

For I was blind to God and His all embracing love,
Blind, so I could not see the path to heaven above,
Now I go rejoicing, for no blindness bars my way,
It is like living in a world of a bright eternal day.
