INTEGRITY, MORE THAN HONEST
Integrity is more than being honest, more than being true,
More than incorruption, it is being wholesome all through,
Moral righteousness that is quite complete in every way,
Soundness, being unimpaired, true and virtuous every day.
No evil ever tempts if kind integrity you have gained,
Just thoughts of sin causes an integral heart to be pained,
Integrity is living a Christ-like life, so no evil enters in
And we fight every moment to keep ourselves from sin.
Honesty, truthfulness, righteousness, virtue and love,
Are the stepping stones to integrity and heaven above,
Integrity is striving to be complete with all good things,
Integrity is the virtue strong enough us to heaven bring.
Day by day we should all strive sweet integrity to gain,
Be a person of no guile, never hang our head in shame,
Virtue garnish every thought that comes into our mind,
Never tire in righteous doing, and so sweet peace find.
