THE POWER OF THE HOLY GHOST
I sat and felt the Holy Ghost flow like a healing river,
Setting my heart pounding, my spirit seemed to quiver
With expectation and joy for Heavenly Father’s love,
For sending me all the blessing and gifts from up above.

I felt that I could walk on water and still the wild storm,
Say the right words to friends and free them from harm,
Convert the wide whole world by the things I do and say,
Such a wonderful feeling it was that came to me that day.

Who can deny a loving God when the Holy Ghost testifies?
Who could deny that He lives, wants heaven to be our prize?
He will lead us and guide us and gives us the power to grow
In the light of the gospel and so wisdom to all try and show.

Let the Holy Ghost enter into your lives every single day,
Feel the overpowering love we gain traveling the true way,
Have faith to move a mountain, the courage to always go on
However steep the way, with help, the journey can be won.

Help me, dear Father, the Holy Ghost to have in my heart,
That I will always have the strength to do my small part,
To feel the power promised to those who will faithful be,
Please, Lord, let me be led on the pathway up to Thee.
