FORECAST - SCATTERED SHOWERS
When scattered showers are in the forecast
We really should not be too downcast,
For scattered showers should mean sunshine show
When it stops raining and those suns rays shine through.
Scattered showers could mean pretty rainbows,
When the sun and the rain together some time show,
Scattered showers on a really hot summer day
Can bring pleasant relief in a special way.
Scattered showers can send large clouds across the sky,
Changing shapes as so fast they all scurry by,
Scattered showers can mean puddles around,
Fun to splash in when the heat of summer is found.
You may have a small bird bath on the lawn,
Where birdie friends may bathe on days so warm,
Scattered showers can be a blessing to all,
Even when its cooling off in the late fall.
For rain showers are better that the snow to come,
Although it may deprive the children of their fun,
But all adults will surely agree with me,
Scattered showers don’t need shovelling, see.
